There been ongoing research into how our heart and brain interact. The connection and the importance of our hearts on our emotions and how we think is evident even in the womb. When a fetus is developing in the womb, it develops a heart which starts beating well before the brain is formed and the mother can synchronize the baby’s heartbeat just with her brainwaves. Our hearts and brains affect so many facets of our lives that we don’t consciously consider such as positive emotions having an effect on our entire well being including our physical well being or that the heart’s neuron’s have effects on our long and short term memory.

Through these finds and the research carried out by the HearthMath institute, we can see the importance of changing our feelings to be more positive as it is beneficial to us in every way. While every day life can get a lot of us down such as the pressures of working and paying bills, this is actually a new and unnatural pressure of human life. These are realities of everyday life but we don’t need to feel this way and we are capable of moving on to much better and more positive existence.

Even though millions of people suffer from poverty and struggle to even feed themselves, we can turn this around. Happiness comes from within and finding moments of inner peace and joy in our lives is beneficial not only to our health but our well being as well. More and more people are making this realization, that positive thought and emotion can make huge differences to our everyday lives, and are demanding change so that we can all enjoy life and there’s no need for suffering or negative emotions.

For the most part, the findings from this research has indicated that what feelings we experience are mostly our own choice. We can change our feelings by changing the way that we think. If we expect that negative things then they will more than likely happen. If we chose to think about anything negative as only an opportunity for growth and continue with our positive thoughts, positive changes will happen!

Basically this research is showing us that positive feelings such as love and compassion have a huge impact on our lives for the better. The way you choose to think plays a huge part in the reality that you create. Its clear that the research coming out of the HeartMath institute is showing us that we can make a global change if we all chose to embrace positive thought.
